✍️We would like to dedicate this post to environmental education as a system of knowledge about the environment and the laws of nature that surround people in their daily lives.
Nowadays, when Ukraine and Ukrainians suffer from the consequences of the Russian invasion, the environment is being devastated: mining of territories, thousands of shells exploding every day, fires, polluted lands, rivers, and seas, the use of chemical weapons by the Russian occupier, all these factors and factors affect the state of the environment and, of course, the health of Ukrainians.
We hope that this war will end shortly with our victory, and we will need to restore our war-torn territories, such restoration may take decades, so we must pay great attention to environmental education and the formation of environmental values in our children.
✅That is why the NGO Center for International Cooperation and Project Implementation provided the Working Group on Improving the Environmental Education System in Ukraine, established under the Environmental Committee of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, with its proposals and comments, which were included in the final recommendations.
Shortly, these recommendations will be publicly discussed and communicated to the Ministry of Ecology and members of the Ecocommittee.
