On October 5, another traditional online meeting of 10 NGOs - winners of the Ecodia competition for the development of Ukrainian cities and communities based on the principles of green recovery - took place.
Each NGO presented its successes in implementing projects. A pleasant surprise for the participants was to meet the new head of the Climate Department, Vasylina Belyo. Ms. Belyo is an experienced climate action specialist and knows the intricacies of shaping state policy in the field of climate change.
During the online meeting, project manager Anastasia Ivashyna briefly presented to the participants the issues of climate change and the consequences for the planet of a temperature increase of more than 1.5-2 degrees Celsius.
