This week, the Chairman of the Board of the Center for International Cooperation and Project Implementation together with @Oksana Piskunova handed over three KVERTUS electronic defense systems against FPV drones to the National Guard of Ukraine. These 3 backpacks valued at UAH 325 thousand were purchased with the financial assistance of Japanese philanthropists due to the successful sales of @OksanaPiskunova's Ukrainian language textbook for Japanese, which became a bestseller in Japan in six months.
The guardsmen said that the reliable universal electronic warfare systems KVERTUS protect not only our defenders but also civilians and the wounded, who are evacuated from frontline villages.
We are grateful to Ms. Oksana and our Japanese friends who care about protecting the lives of Ukrainians because today electronic defense equipment is a precious life for both our defenders and civilians in the frontline zone.
FYI: @Oksana Piskunova is a Ukrainian who has been living in Japan for almost 30 years and is a leading Japanese/Ukrainian translator and editor of Ukrainian news and documentaries about Ukraine on the national Japanese TV channels NHK and AsahiTV.
In 2023, Ms. Oksana published a Ukrainian language textbook in Japan for Japanese people who are interested in and plan to cooperate with Ukraine as investors, and volunteers, and provide all kinds of support.
With the assistance of the Center for International Cooperation and Project Implementation, Oksana donated part of the proceeds from her sales to help Ukraine.
