Last week, on the initiative and financial support of the NGO Center for Environmental Initiatives “Ecodia” and with the participation of representatives of coal communities, the public, and experts from the Ministry of Community and Territorial Development, a study tour to North Macedonia, Kosovo, and Romania was held to share experience in the just transition of coal communities.
Olena Vusyk, the head of the organization, took part in the trip on behalf of the ICPI Center. “It is the common vision and position on community development of all stakeholders in the process of just transition that will certainly contribute to the rapid transition of such communities to carbon neutrality,” says Olena Vusyk.
