Awarding the Winners of the children's drawing competition "How to Save the Planet!"

On December 21, 2023, the winners of the children's drawing competition "How to Save the Planet!", which was announced in the Dolynska community as part of the implementation of the grant project "Assessment of the Vulnerability of the Dolynska City Territorial Community of Kirovohrad Oblast to Climate Change and Recommendations for Adaptation and Green Recovery Measures", were awarded valuable prizes and certificates at the premises of the Dolynska City Council of Kirovohrad Oblast.

The competition was preceded by a series of eco-educational events and webinar lectures on climate change held by representatives of the Center for International Cooperation and Project Implementation in October. These events covered about 700 community children from all 12 educational institutions.

📢During these lectures, special attention was paid to the impact of war on climate change, and how explosions, fires, and mines affect our environment.

💙💛According to the results of the Competition Selection Committee, 8 winners were selected.

Among them are Varvara Zinovieva, a student of the Municipal Institution "Lyceum №2 of Dolynska City Council", 7th-grade students of the Municipal Institution "Malovodianskyi Lyceum of Dolynska City Council" - Sofia Danylenko, Alina Denyshchych, Yegor Gaidai and Yelyzaveta Fedorova, as well as students of the Municipal Institution "Molodizhne Lyceum of Dolynska City Council" Sofia Kopylova, Veronika Kirichenko, and Valeria Hnatyshina.

The children's drawings reflect the impact of the war on the environment and the careful attitude to the world around them. We hope that the war will end soon with Ukraine's victory and that our children will live a happy life in a clean environment.♻️🌿✅
